Peng Shou Visits Russia and Kazakhstan

From February 6th to 7th, Peng Shou, President of China National Building Materials Corporation, Chairman of Kaisheng Technology Group, and Chairman of China National Building Materials International Engineering Group, visited Russia and Kazakhstan, meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and the President of Russia's European Cement, and comforting the project construction team.

During his stay in Russia, Mr. Skolahod, President of the European Cement Group in Russia, warmly received Peng Shou and his delegation. Peng Shou conveyed greetings from Chairman Song Zhiping and General Manager Cao Jianglin to Chairman and President of Oshui Gavarcheri, introduced the new achievements made by China National Building Materials Group in 2018, and expressed his desire to further deepen cooperation between the two groups. Mr. Skolahod is very pleased to meet Peng Shou and his delegation in Moscow on the second day of the Chinese New Year. He sincerely admires the development achievements made by China National Building Materials in 2018 and thanks China National Building Materials for its support to Europe over the years. He also highly praised the professional, international, and standardized management capabilities of the Beijing Kaisheng Uzbekistan Ahangalan 6200 ton Pd cement project. Both sides have reached a broad agreement on further cooperation in the fields of building materials industry parks, engineering projects, prefabricated houses, etc. During this period, Peng Shou also met with Mr. Suzuko, the general representative of Mitsubishi Trading Company in Japan, and both sides unanimously stated that in 2019, they will strengthen their market expansion efforts, form strong alliances, and jointly achieve new gains in new fields.

During his stay in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Prime Minister Sakintayev and First Deputy Prime Minister Maming personally received Peng Shou.   At the same time, we hope to deeply cultivate the market in Kazakhstan and create a complete glass industry chain for Kazakhstan. Prime Minister Sakintayev strongly agrees with Peng Shou's suggestion and stated that as the first glass production line in the country, the Kazakh government will fully support the construction of the Kyzyl Orda glass project.

During this period, Peng Shou also attended meetings with Kizileorda Governor Kuserbayev, Kazakh Minister of Industry, Chairman of Bayi Iron Foundation, and Chairman of Kazakh Development Bank, and had full communication on project construction and cooperation. And they also expressed condolences to the employees of China Building Materials Engineering Glass Division and Beijing Kaisheng who worked hard on the front lines of the glass production line in Kizilla Oda and the Xili Cement Plant during the Spring Festival.
